Hopefully, we have seen the last of winter, as Spring begins March 20th!
All of the children have begun their "walk with Jesus", as Lent has begun. We all received ashes after Mass, on March 1st. The K4, Kindergarten and Grade 1, are attending the Stations of the Cross on Friday afternoons, in the Hall.
You are invited to join us any time.
Kindergarten is now working on Unit 8 in our Imagine It! reading program. We are currently beginning our Math unit introducing MONEY, and have just finished our Unit on Telling Time. The children are working very hard, and making wonderful progress. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement.
Please see Mrs. Luzzo's weekly emails for all information regarding our Lenten project of Food/Clothing Drive, as well as our upcoming Easter Party and Talent Show!
School will be closed from Monday, April 10th until Monday April 17th to observe our most holiest of the Liturgical seasons. School will resume on TUESDAY, April 18th. Our ARTS festival will take place at the school on Wednesday, April 26th. We hope to see as many of you as possible, come to see the wonderful talents of our students.
In May, we look forward to our "SPRING FLING", on Saturday, May 6th at OLSS Church.
If, at any time, you may need to contact me, please use this contact link, or call the office, or simply send the good "old fashioned", note to the teacher:)
